Our founder
Kelle Jacob
Founder of the ASRI Institute and creator of The Embodiment Method™, an approach that brings together modern science, contemplative wisdom, and the daily practice of inner mastery.
An early instinct to create
At 19, Kelle founded the Oswald Cleveland Gallery, an online art gallery she would go on to sell at 25. Her entrepreneurial path led her around the world, speaking about creativity and building something from an idea.
She later spent a decade at The Estée Lauder Companies, working across consumer insights, anthropology, product development, and global innovation. Studying people and cultures, she explored what shapes behavior, aspiration, and change, and led four patent teams developing ideas for emerging human needs.
A turning point
At 34, a period of illness and exhaustion brought Kelle to a deeply personal crossroads. Her search for healing and a different way of living took her to Bali, where she began immersing herself in Ayurveda, meditation, breathwork, and contemplative traditions. What began as a search for answers became a profound shift in how she understood herself and the possibilities for change.
She went on to deepen her studies in neuroscience, hypnotherapy, Kundalini yoga, and somatic approaches, exploring how awareness, the subconscious mind, the nervous system, and embodied practice shape the way we live.
From personal discovery to shared practice
For more than eight years, Kelle has brought this work to thousands of people through classes, retreats, leadership experiences, and programs around the world. She has worked with global organizations including Barclays and The New York Times, engaged in United Nations-related events and initiatives, and collaborated with communities and organizations including the Brahma Kumaris. Through The Embodiment Method™, she helps people recognize familiar patterns, practice new ways of being, and carry those changes into their relationships, leadership, and everyday lives.
The ASRI Embodiment Collective grew from a belief that transformation requires more than insight. For four years, Kelle has held an ongoing community of daily meditation, weekly embodiment practice, workshops, and honest conversation, creating a place where people have the tools, structure, and support to do the inner work together.
A commitment to what comes next
Kelle has served on the Hunter College Foundation Board of Trustees for more than a decade and now serves as its co-chair. She helped initiate and carry an $80 million library renovation through completion, part of her enduring commitment to education, access, and creating spaces where people can thrive. That commitment extends to the generations ahead: building opportunities, programs, and environments that help people discover and develop what is possible within them.
Today, through the ASRI Institute, Kelle is building a home for this work to grow beyond any one teacher or program: a connected world of practical tools, education, community, and experiences that support people in discovering who they truly are, moving beyond their conditioning, and creating a life from that place.
